Dr. Tom received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Dental School of Creighton University in 1978. In 1980, he completed his postgraduate orthodontic residency at St. Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri. Since then he has maintained a specialty orthodontic practice in Omaha.

Dr. Tom is dedicated to staying abreast of the latest orthodontic innovations, techniques and technology. He attends numerous continuing education courses each year, enabling him to provide the best care available for his patients.

Dr. Tom is committed to serving his community. He is active in Christ the King Church, United Catholic Social Services, United Way, Bemis Center for Contemporary Art, Hot Shops, Child Savings Institute, Creighton University and Buena Vista University. Dr. Tom holds active memberships in numerous professional organizations such as the Omaha District Dental Society, Nebraska Dental Association, American Dental Association, Nebraska Society of Orthodontists and the American Association of Orthodontists.

While maintaining a fun and friendly office, Dr. Tom is committed to providing the best care for his patients. Nothing makes him happier than seeing his patients proudly displaying their new smiles after the braces have been removed, knowing their teeth can be healthy for a lifetime.

In his free time Dr. Tom enjoys spending time with his family (five children, nine brothers and sisters and 31 nieces and nephews!) as well as painting, traveling, collecting art and playing golf.
